Accepting Coparenting with Ex-Husband

The magazine Variety did an interview with actress Jennifer Garner and one of interviewer Sheryl Lee Ralph's questions was about Jen's coparenting with ex-husband Ben Affleck, of which they share three fruits. They are Violet, 17 years old, Seraphina, 14 years old, and Samuel, 11 years old.

During the interview for the painting that was created for YouTube, Actors on Actors, The actress commented on her ability to balance motherhood and life in Hollywood “We have so many things in common (…) I feel like we have a very normal life. And we love our children”, Sheryl said. Jennifer complemented her colleague's speech “And all the parenting mess. It's a gift” she says, demonstrating that their relationship is turbulent.

She did not provide any further details, but says it is difficult to relate to her ex with the spotlight always on. The actress also reports that her children like watching films starring their father more than her. “They don't mind taking care of their dad, but they kind of want me to be their mom. They don't want to see me upset and women cry more when they do it. And they don't really want to see me in something romantic.”she informed.

Ben and Jennifer's relationship lasted 10 years, ending in 2015. The actor and director rekindled a relationship with Jennifer Lopes after a few decades, and they are currently married. They got married in July 2022 and recently there were rumors that there was a heavy atmosphere between the couple, due to the singer's “diva” behavior. However, the rumors were disproved when Lopes and Aflleck were photographed hugging and kissing walking through the streets of California with their children Samuel, from the actor's previous marriage, and Max, JeLo's son from her previous marriage.

While Garner is currently in a relationship since 2018 with the CEO of CaliBurger.
