Aluf presents natural beauty with freckles and blush in its new collection

São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW) N57 began this Tuesday (09) at Shopping JK Iguatemi with the Aluf fashion show, which featured delicate pieces inspired by poems by Bento Teixeira.

To illustrate its baroque concept, the beauty artist Mika Safro was invited to create the beauty of the collection and incorporated the theme of the show by presenting a natural and fresh beauty to the models.

Fresh, natural beauty

It's no news that natural beauty has gained fame with different aesthetics and trends on the internet and also with the beauties of major fashion shows around the world. This time, the “natural and fresh” trend arrived in Brazil, especially at SPFW N57. At the Aluf fashion show, delicate, natural and light beauty won over the public on Tuesday night (09) with the production of Beauty Artist, Mika Safro.

At the show, Mika wore makeup with well-marked blush in warm tones – mainly orange – to represent the flushed effect of the sun.

Another makeup trend that beauty artist brought was feminine naturalness, with a focus on the discreet sardines on the models' faces. Using toothpicks to place dots of color in different places on the faces, Mika innovatively recreated the beauty of moles and birthmarks used in belle epoque. In addition, other points were included in the makeup, such as shimmering gold shadows and mirrored lip gloss.

Completing six years as a brand, Aluf showed its new collection at SPFW inspired by images of the Brazilian Baroque and the poems of Bento Teixeira. Named Prosopopeia, the collection presents black, gold and white tones as strong trends for next season.

To represent the abundance of gold that references the historical Baroque movement, Aluf sought a brilliant collection in golden tones, but also invested in monochromatic looks, and with raw, earthy and blue tones.

To celebrate the collection and follow the fashion show, several Brazilian celebrities were present, such as Deborah Nascimento, Elisa Zarzur, Julia Arcangeli and Gkay, who gathered in the front row of the catwalk. The brand's winter collection was under the creative direction of Pará designer Ana Luisa Fernandes.
