'An album of time and memories with ARMYs'

The group BTS (photo) released their new album 'Proof' on June 10th. This is an anthology album that compiles 9 years of activities since its debut. Anthology-type albums were released by only a few musicians who made a mark in history, such as the legendary Britpop band 'The Beatles' and the British hard rock legend 'Deep Purple'.

“The new album is an album that summarizes our biography and that of the 'Army'. It's even more special because it contains our time and memories intact.”, commented J Hope, member of BTS.

Group leader RM said through his agency Big Hit Music: “BTS, celebrating its 9th anniversary, is a special album that ends Chapter 1. It cost a lot“.

'Proof' consists of three CDs with the concept of BTS's past, present and future. The title track 'Yet To Come', 'Run BTS' and 'For Youth' included three new songs, including a total of 48 songs. RM, Suga and J-Hope participated in the work on the title song, which means 'Not Arrive Yet', and the perfection was improved. It's a song that recalls the musical journey BTS has taken and promises a better future.

Upon releasing a new album after a long time, the members expressed their overwhelming emotions. It's the first time BTS has released a new album in about 11 months since their single 'Butter' in July last year. It is the first album in 1 year and 7 months since 'BE', released in November 2020. Now that BTS is opening a new chapter as a 10-year-old artist, it contains the meaning of looking back on their activities.

As of 2pm on the same day, an hour after its release, the song proved its strong presence by taking first place on the music websites Melon and Bugs.

BTS will perform the stage for the new song 'Old to Come' for the first time through the official BTS YouTube channel 'BANGTANTV' at 9pm on the 13th, celebrating the 9th anniversary of their debut.
