BLACKPINK stars on the cover of Rolling Stone and Jisoo opens her heart in an interview

South Korean group BLACKPINK stars on the May cover of Rolling Stone. In addition to their contribution as a band, the singers gave solo interviews to the magazine. During her participation, Kim Jisoo shared details about fame, mental health and the possibility of a solo career.

Although she is very proud of the project she maintains with Jennie, Rosé and Lisa, Jisoo does not rule out the possibility of embarking on a solo flight. However, he still doesn't know how to put it into practice. The singer stated that she feels confused about what she likes, can and wants to do.

Known as the funniest member of BLACKPINK, Jisoo told Rolling Stone that she doesn't see herself as a big star. The artist is aware of the international dimension of the quartet, but, privately, she says she is “just the same as always”.

When asked about her love for music, the performer said that she loves the fact that they are always connected to the entire creation process, from start to finish. This way, the lyrics convey exactly what the band proposes. Furthermore, the South Korean declared that she thinks about how she can be an influence on other people's lives through music:

Another issue mentioned by the singer was her neglect of her physical and mental health, due to the great demand she places on herself. At one point in the interview, Jisoo reported an episode that happened at Coachella, in 2019, when her back hurt a lot. At that time, she took painkillers every night, but she continued to neglect a moment of rest in the name of responsibility and duty.

Despite so many difficulties, Kim Jisoo is proud of her involvement with music, and today celebrates 10 years on the music scene.
