Celine Dionone of the greatest contemporary artists, had to cancel her work schedule shows from the tour “Courage World Tour”, a tour that had already been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the reason for canceling the shows this time is due to a neurological problem, which the singer has been treating for some time.

Céline suffers from a syndrome called “stiff person syndrome” (SPR), which causes severe limb stiffness and unexpected spasms. The illness was already making preparations and performances for the tour difficult and, therefore, this Friday (26) the artist announced, through her Instagram profile, the cancellation of the shows. In the publication, Céline says: “I'm sorry to disappoint you all once again. I'm working really hard to get my strength back, but touring can be very difficult even when you're 100%. It's not fair to you to keep postponing shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it's best that we cancel everything now until I'm actually ready to get back on stage again. I want everyone to know that I won’t give up and I can’t wait to see you again!”

Therefore, the 42 shows that had already been scheduled in Europe were canceled and the public will have their ticket prices refunded. The tour would start in August this year.

Céline Dion, at 55 years old, is considered one of the biggest names in the contemporary music industry. She has sold more than 200 million records, in addition to the 5 Grammys she has won throughout her career, awards that are well deserved.
