Diablo IV was the best selling game in Europe in June

According to the market analysis company, GFK, Diablo IV was the best selling game in Europe in June. In fact, no game has sold over there this month since sales data started being tracked in 2017.

Blizzard’s game performance made sales on the European continent rise 20% compared to June 2022, with 15.5 million copies of games sold.

If we take into account the whole of 2023, the fastest selling champion remains Hogwarts Legacy, with Diablo IV appearing in second position, ahead of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

It’s worth noting that, as pointed out by GI.biz head Christopher Dring, Nintendo doesn’t provide digital sales data, so Zelda may be outperforming Diablo IV and Hogwarts Legacy.

In the case of Final Fantasy XVI, which was the second best-selling game of the month in that region, sales were 24% below those recorded by Final Fantasy VII Remake in 2020.

On console sales, the PS5 was the champion, registering an increase of 116% compared to the same period of the previous year, while the Switch registered a drop of 2.3% and the Xbox Series of 0.8%.
