A free adaptation of the Chinese legend of Journey to the West , the anime begins by telling the story of the boy Goku , a young man with extraordinary powers and the tail of a monkey, who even lives isolated from humanity. His life changes when a teenager named Bulma meets him, looking for one of the famous Dragon Balls . Together they embark on a journey behind the 7 spheres , which together can grant any wish.

The release is part of Crunchyroll ‘s “Dubbing Thursdays” schedule , which airs anime dubbed in Portuguese every Thursday.
Along with the first 30 episodes of Dragon Ball Z , which will be released on October 6th, we will also get new episodes from the original Dragon Ball series , as well as the first 20 episodes of The Great Jahy Not Be Defeated !
