Dragon Quest Treasures launches for PC on Steam

Square Enix and developer TOSE announced that Dragon Quest Treasures is now playable on PC via the Steam. The game follows the childhood adventures of siblings Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, on a journey in search of the legendary Dragonstones.

The PC version comes with graphical and performance improvements compared to the Switch version, and also supports Steam Deck play.

If you purchase the standard or deluxe edition of the game before July 28th at 10:00 pm PDT, you will receive 10x Chimaera Wing, 10x Better Buddy Bullet and 15x Fullheal Pellet as a gift to use in-game.

Dragon Quest Treasures is a treasure hunting RPG that allows players to enjoy limitless adventure and free hunting.

Erik and his sister, Mia, live on a Viking longship dreaming of the day they can explore the world in search of great treasure. One night, they meet a pair of otherworldly creatures, Porcus and Purrsula, and are transported to a mysterious place known as Draconia, a legendary land filled with treasures waiting to be discovered. The adventure Erik and Mia have always dreamed of has finally begun!

Dragon Quest Treasures explores the thrill of adventure, and that means hunting for treasure! The adventure takes place in Draconia, a land that is home to countless precious pieces. Join Erik and Mia on their quest for the legendary Dragonstones, while picking up as much treasure as possible along the way!

With the threat growing from rival scavenger hunt teams, Erik and Mia form a gang of their own and secure a base of operations. Each loot they acquire increases the total value of their treasure chest. When this value reaches a certain point, their gang will level up, unlocking new treasure hunting skills and the option to add amenities to the base.

Treasure hunting gangs have been known to come from far and wide in hopes of gaining riches. “Rival Gangs” will do anything to get their hands on Erik and Mia’s treasure, from field raids to base raids.

“Draconia” was formed from the bodies of two huge Golden Dragons. Over the eons, its rocky remains have eroded, resulting in six floating islands. Erik and Mia can explore five very different biomes on their treasure hunt, from volcanic mountains and arid deserts to frozen wastes. Each island is inhabited by various types of monsters. Using the powers of the “Dragon Daggers”, Erik and Mia can recruit monsters to join the gang. Each monster has a special ability called “Strong”, allowing them to fly through the air or dive to the ground to get around obstacles on their way to loot. Working alongside their polite monster, Erik and Mia hunt for buried treasure in the lands of Draconia!
