Gil speaks after being harassed by Corinthians fans

Absolute holder of the alvinegra defense, Gil, 36 years old, was very hostile by fans after the return of the team’s training to the Corinthians hotel, last week, in Belo Horizonte. With a complicated phase at the club, he has been the target of curses from the fans, where he has even been called “tramp” and even from “former player” by a fan who also said that the player was “stealing the Corinthians”, inside the lobby at the hotel. The fan even argued with a hotel security guard who had work to contain the tempers.

The commentator, Emerson Sheik, at the premiere of the program Domingol com Benja, this Sunday (9), commented on the offenses that defender Gil suffered “He is highly respected by everyone at Corinthians”. The squad player is the most popular for being one of the most committed to physical activities and focused on the gym to keep in shape. In April, Gil completed 400 games with the team’s shirt, and even though he only has a contract until December of this year, he has not yet been approached to discuss a possible renewal.
