Halo Infinite no longer runs on graphics cards less than 4GB

Halo Infinite

The spec situation is a little different on Steam. There it says that the game needs at least a Radeon RX 570 or GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, but it doesn’t specify how much VRAM they need to have for the game to work, which may have confused some users. Since the arrival of Season 3, many players using cards like the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 3GB or the GTX 1060 3GB are no longer able to play, with a message appearing on the desktop screen advising that a GPU with at least 4GB available is required.
Previously, it was still possible to run the game despite the error messages, especially on the 3GB GTX 1060, which, according to some users, performed satisfactorily, as long as the graphics quality was greatly reduced in the game’s options. Since it’s only been a week since Season 3 arrived, maybe someone will find a way around this so that players with 3GB GPUs can be able to play again. Otherwise, they will have to change their video card to continue playing.
