Ibrahimovic extends contract with AC Milan
AMSTERDAM – Zlatan Ibrahimovic will continue for a while. The attacker has signed a new contract with AC Milan. The 39-year-old Swede sticks to it for another season.
Ibrahimovic returned to AC Milan in 2019, exchanging it for Paris Saint-Germain in 2012. Via Manchester United and LA Galaxy, the striker returned, who also played for Ajax, among others, back in Milan.
The renewal is remarkably timed. After all, last week the news came out that Ibrahimovic may be suspended for a long time. The AC Milan star’s troubles are said to be about a Malta-based betting office called Bethard. He would be a co-owner of it and that is against the rules of both FIFA and UEFA.
