This is because there are few accidents such as crashes in the city and the number of robberies is also low. Salvador has the highest insurance value, because since 2014 the number of robberies and thefts has been growing considerably.

The average car insurance value is R$1,695 to R$4,342 for the 10 best-selling models in the previous year. To give you an idea, the Chevrolet Onix, which was the sales leader in 2015, has a maximum insurance value of R$3365 in São Paulo and a minimum of R$1782 in Rio de Janeiro.
