After more than 11 years as a player for the Portland Trail Blazers, Damian Lillard spoke about his move to the Milwaukee Bucks
Damian Lillard stated that he feels alone after leaving the Portland Trail Blazers, the franchise where he spent most of his career. In an interview with Chris Mannix, from “Sports Illustrated”, this Tuesday, the 27th, the player from Milwaukee Bucks revealed that he misses his children.
“Being away from my children is hard. In Portland, my life was settled. My mother lived on my street; my brother too. My sister also lived on the street. My children at school. My entire life was perfectly established there. It was something very good. Leaving it all behind is a lot”, said the point guard.

Dame leads a lonelier life in Wisconsin after a divorce, estrangement from her children and a giant career change. Lillard also commented on his new routine:
“It's definitely lonely, because I'm a family guy. My life is my family (…) Bro, go to training, come home, watch boxing, play video games. Man, I type FightHype (boxing website) on YouTube like 100 times and pray there's something new there. I really don't have a life. But that's what comes after making an adult decision. You have to get used to it”, he concluded.
Despite the veteran's personal issues, the Bucks are third in the Eastern Conference and are serious title contenders. Damian averages 24.5 points, 6.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds and along with Giannis Antetokounmpoare leading the franchise to a great campaign.
