Ludmilla reaches the top of Spotify with “Numanice 3”

In just two days of release, “Numanice 3”, Ludmilla’s new work, has already reached the mark of 5 million listens on Spotify. The album was released last Tuesday (20) and, in the first 24 hours of its debut, it already accumulated 2.8 million plays on the platform. The numbers already make this the best debut for the 28-year-old from Rio.

Unlike the second volume of the trilogy, which was originally released in a studio version, “Numanice 3” has already arrived on platforms in a live format and filled with important guests and bold pagodeira versions of acclaimed songs in other genres.

“Malicious”

Since November 2023, fans have been able to get a preview of what “Numanice 3” would be like. That month, “Destillado” was released, a partnership between the singer and the Brazilian group Menos é Mais.

However, the real success of the future work was confirmed by the buzz generated by the release of “Maliciosa”, in January. The song already has more than 12 million listens on Spotify and was one of the singer's bets for Carnival.

Guests and versions

In addition to the group Menos é Mais, singer Vitinho participates in the work, in the song “1%”; country singer Mari Fernandez, who shares vocals with Ludmilla in “Falta de Mim”; the trappers Caio Luccas, in “Saudade da Gente”, and Veigh, in “Sim ou Não”; and rising Brazilian pop star Carol Biazin, in “Raio-X”.

The work also features the special participation of pagodeiro Belo, who shares the vocals with Lud on “26 de Outubro”, a song very much in the style of the group Soweto, a declared influence of the singer.

Another highlight of the work is the version of “Cedo ou Tarde”. One of the best-known songs by the rock group NX Zero turns into a refined pagoda in the singer's voice.
