Madonna may be coming to Rio de Janeiro

Madonna in Rio is increasingly real. Plane carrying a banner with the message “Brazil, I'm coming” was spotted by swimmers on Copacabana beach, in the south of Rio de Janeiro, this Wednesday morning (20).

Is she coming or not?

Bathers on Copacabana beach were surprised by the banner, pulled by a plane, which announced the arrival of the Queen of World Pop, according to the G1 team.

“Brazil, I'm coming”, in the literal translation, indicated that she would be coming and that the speculations of a mega show, which had been circulating for some time, returned with full force.

However, there has still been no official notice from the singer or her team, even though Lauro Jardim, a columnist for the newspaper O Globo, took for granted the presence of the American singer in Rio de Janeiro.

Who contributed even more to the hype Madonna's possible arrival in Brazil was the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, who published on his X (formerly Twitter) a Gif of the singer with the caption “Signs, strong signs”.

The last time the Queen of Pop set foot on Brazilian soil was in 2012, 12 years ago. The occasion was the singer's last trip to Brazil out of a total of three so far.

The supposed mega show that is part of his new tour; The Celebration Tourwould be the singer's fourth performance here and, even though it has not yet been confirmed, it is already positively affecting the demand for hotels and tickets, both air and bus, for the city of Rio de Janeiro.

However, fans already take the Queen of Pop's visit for granted and say that, in addition to being the best show of their lives, they will be at the beach early to enjoy every moment of the performance.
