ticket sales are postponed

Rock in Rio announced, last Wednesday (20), that ticket sales for the 2024 edition have been postponed. According to information published on the event's official page on social media, tickets, which would go on sale in April, were moved to May, bringing it even closer to the festival.

Postponed dates

Last year, Rock in Rio had announced that official ticket sales would take place on April 19th. However, the event's official page announced last Wednesday afternoon (20), that the general sale will only take place on May 23, and there will also be an exclusive pre-sale for customers of its sponsoring bank and members of Rock in Rio Club – the festival's loyalty program – which will take place between May 14th and 22nd.

The deadline for those who purchased the Rock in Rio Card to choose the date they want to go has also changed, and will now be May 21st. It is worth remembering that the Card is a ticket sold in advance that guarantees the choice of one of the days of the event. Therefore, this choice must be made by the deadline.

Official line-up

One of the possible reasons for postponing sales dates is the fact that the line-up is not complete. Sales only start when all artists have already been announced on their respective stages.

So far, the Mundo stage will have shows by Travis Scott and Matuê, Wiu and Teto on September 13th; Lulu Santos, Zara Larsson, Onerepublic and Imagine Dragons on September 14th; Jão, Joss Stone and Ed Sheeran on the 19th; Ivete Sangalo, Cyndi Lauper and Katy Perry on the 20th; and Ne-yo and Shawn Mendes on the 22nd. Gloria Groove's shows on September 19th are also confirmed on the Sunset stage; Lueji Luna, Tyla, Gloria Gaynor and Iza on the 20th; and Mariah Carey on the 22nd. Therefore, there is still a long list of artists to be confirmed, including two main headliners on the Mundo stage on the 15th and 21st of September.
