Mbappé is irritated after being substituted in the second half against Olympique

This Sunday (31), Paris Saint-Germain defeated Olympique de Marseille away from home 2-0 and maintained their 12-point advantage over Stade Brestois at the top of the French Championship. Despite the victory, the game was marked by Mbappé's reaction after being substituted in the second half of the match.

Irritation after replacement

PSG was already leading 1-0, with a goal from Vitinha, when coach Luis Enrique replaced player Kylian Mbappé, in the 19th minute of the second half. Irritated, the number 7 did not greet the coach when leaving the field and went directly to the dressing room, not staying to see the end of the match on the bench, along with the other players. PSG would score once again with Gonçalo Ramos who came on in the second half, replacing the Frenchman.

After the game

In the press conference after the match, the Spanish coach was asked about the substitution and made it clear that he did not care about the opinion of the player or anyone who might disagree with his decisions. Luis Enrique also concluded by saying that while he is in charge of the team, he will put into practice what he thinks is best for the team to emerge victorious.

“It's the same song every week, the same song… It's boring. I'm the coach. I make the decisions every week. I do my best for PSG, I will do this until my last day in Paris.”

Through social media, after the match, the French player simply posted a photo of the moment of his substitution without any type of caption or comment.

Recurring controversy

This is not the first time that the player has reacted this way when being substituted. At the beginning of March, during the match against Monaco, which ended 0-0, Mbappé left the match at half-time and similarly went to the dressing room after the substitution, finishing watching the match from the stadium's stands.

At the time, coach Luis Enrique said that the team needed to get used to playing without the number 7. Apparently, after the season, when his contract with PSG ends, the Frenchman will not renew his contract with the team and will be a player from Real Madrid.
