Tottenham’s New Goalkeeper Coach
Michel Vorm returns to Tottenham Hotspur. The former international of Orange will start in London as a goalkeeper coach. The club announced this news a day after the resignation of coach José Mourinho.
Although 37-year-old Vorm was open to a return to the Eredivisie, he put an end to his career last summer. He was under contract with ‘ The Spurs’ for many years during his career .
The club also announced on Tuesday that Ryan Mason will finish the season as head coach. The 29-year-old former player of the club has been appointed as a temporary replacement for Mourinho, who was fired on Monday. Mason had to end his career a few seasons ago due to a serious head injury. At Tottenham he was in charge of the top youth team.
“We have great faith in our talented team of players,” said Chairman Daniel Levy. “We have a cup final and six league games ahead of us and we will now put all our energy into finishing the season as strong as possible.”
