Musicians Reveal Abuses in the Company and Terminate Contract

The representative further alleges that the company tried to push abusive contracts onto artists. “A SM is still trying to ask for a contract period of at least 17 or 18 years respectively while asking for subsequent contracts to be signed as if 12 or 13 years were not enough. It's an unfair form of tyranny“, declared the lawyer.

Formed in 2011, EXO is considered one of the main male K-pop bands today. The boyband was chosen by Vogue magazine as “the biggest boyband in the world”, having released six studio albums throughout their career.
