Celebrities are present on the 1st day of VidCon

Promoted by Paramount and Dream Factory, VidCon São Paulo Presented by Santander kicked off on Friday, July 7th. The first Brazilian edition of the event, which runs until July 9 at the São Paulo Expo, is where digital culture takes center stage and the country’s leading digital creators, platform innovators and their fans converge.

The start of the event was given by Fabrício Proti, SVP of Ad Sales Multiplataforma Latin America and Country Manager Brazil at Paramount; Marcelo Gomes, President Meio & Mensagem and Fernanda Cozac, Marketing Director at Dream Factory, in the lecture “Welcome and official opening of VidCon São Paulo”.

Still in room 203, Maria Angela de Jesus, Ivan Baron and Dani Arrais talked about representativeness in the panel “The importance of diversity for the success of the brand”. Then, it was the turn of Manu Gavassi, together with Luiz Menezes, Mariana Madjarof and Sophia Albuquerque, to focus on creativity in advertising in the panel “The power of co-creation: how to create more effective campaigns in partnership with content creators” . “Today I have a sense of security and happiness in working with advertising, which I didn’t have in the beginning”, revealed Manu Gavassi.

The panel “Transforming entertainment into business” brought together Lívia Duclerc and the members of Porta dos Fundos: Antonio Tabet, Fábio de Luca, André Vinicius, in a reflection on the maturation of brand entertainment and the new horizons in the relationship between digital creators and brands .

In room 204 by HOTMART, the 7th also had the panel “Creating with purpose: why brands have the responsibility to influence change” bringing together: Ricardo F. Marques, Monique Evelle, Felipe Gomes and Paula Marsilli. Afterwards, football took the field with Chico Pedrotti, Rafael Ferreira and Helio Mata Machado talking about the “Supercopa Desimpedidos: How the biggest collab on the internet broke the sport bubble in a brandsafe space”. And finalizing the room’s programming, the panel “VIU: the journey of influence on Globo”, had Dora Figueredo, Gabriela Hermanny and Beatriz Milani, revealing the process in building the journey of influence on all Globo screens.

In room 206, the panel “O Poder da Favela”, with Thamirys Marques, Blô, Tiago Trindade and Fernanda Ribeiro, raised the strength of communities on the economic, cultural and social fronts. Then, the discussion on “Are Sports and Streaming born for each other?”, featured Alê Xavier, Luis Felipe Freitas, Fred Bruno, PVC and Lucas Rizzo, analyzing the future of live sports attractions.

Closing the first day, the main stage in the main pavilion, brought Bianca Andrade, creator of Boca Rosa Company. “For you to understand a little bit about how my strategic mind works: Boca Rosa is the persona that generates buzz, that delivers what the Brazilian market likes to consume”, said Bianca Andrade in her lecture.
