Reborn: João Pedro lets Sandra fall from her horse

In Renascer, the romance that will change the life of João Pedro (Juan Paiva) will not begin with passion at first sight. Upon meeting Sandra (Giulia Buscacio), daughter of Colonel Egídio (Vladimir Brichta), José Inocêncio's (Marcos Palmeira) youngest son will not feel the slightest sympathy for the young woman.

Everything will happen as follows: During a car trip, João Pedro sees a scene that catches his attention: Sandra lost on the side of the road, trying to control her horse.

Without hesitation, João Pedro offers help, but soon realizes that the challenge is not only to calm the animal, but also to deal with Sandra's strong personality. The exchange of barbs begins when she, trying to get on the horse, receives unconventional comments from the boy about how to deal with the situation.

“This horse is the one who needs help! I don’t know what got into him… he seems crazy…” says Sandra, completely frustrated, but starting a dialogue full of hints and strong opinions.

The conversation takes an unexpected turn when João tries to approach the animal, only to be surprised by a defensive reaction. Sandra, in turn, doesn't miss the chance to point out João Pedro's sexist behavior, who tries to justify his actions with a dose of humor and experience.

Despite their differences, for a brief moment, they seem to find some affinity, especially when João Pedro manages to calm the horse with his skill and experience.

However, the truce is short-lived. A bombshell revelation from Sandra about her identity sheds light on the reason for the initial tension: she is the daughter of José Inocêncio's biggest rival and leaves João Pedro in shock.

The surprise is such that, in an impulsive act, João lets go of the horse and lets Sandra fall. Harsh words are exchanged, and João Pedro lets go of the animal and lets it fall.

“Go to the devil! Oh, pestilence!”, he says before getting in his car and leaving without further conversation.
