Separated from Venâncio, Eliana gets involved with Damião

In Renascer, José Venâncio (Rodrigo Simas) is far from getting rid of Eliana (Sophie Charlotte) and finding peace alongside Buba (Gabriela Medeiros).

Since she decided to go to Bahia to pursue her share of José Inocêncio’s inheritance, Eliana starts to haunt her ex-husband.

Summary of Renascer chapters

Eliana discovers that Buba is a trans woman and, legally, her name is Alcides. This happens when she searches for the name of the owner of the apartment where Venâncio is living. The property is in Alcides’ name.

Later, Eliana decides to demand from her ex-husband part of the land donated by her father and makes it clear that she will not give up on receiving her share. Upon receiving a refusal from Venâncio, she threatens:

“Do you want me to tell your father that you are seeing a transvestite?”, the model will say.

“Buba is as much a woman as you are”, the publicist will respond.

“Do you want me to tell your father about the arrangement you are making to give him a grandson?”, Eliana will reinforce.

Maddened by having lost her husband, Eliana decides to live on the farm and it won’t be long before she becomes involved in a torrid passion. José Inocêncio’s daughter-in-law will get closer to Damião (Xamã), with whom she will live a forbidden romance with serious consequences.
