Xuxa promotes the new film and receives affection from the children of Complexo do Alemão

At 60 years old, Xuxa returns to cinemas with the new film “Uma Fada Veio Me Visitar”. The presenter continues to promote the film and visited, this Saturday (21), Morro do Adeus, located in Complexo do Alemão, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, to show the film free of charge to children in the community.

The action was carried out and promoted by the newspaper Voz das Comunidades, a local independent community vehicle. The queen of the little ones took advantage of the moment to take photos with the children and also pose alongside the outlet's editor-in-chief, Rene Silva.

Return to the big screen

The new project celebrates the artist's return after 14 years off the big screen. The last project the presenter participated in was in “Portas dos Fundos: Contrato Vitalício”, from 2016, where she made a special appearance as herself.

The last film made was in 2009, when he starred in “O Mistério de Feiurinha” alongside Angélica, Luciano Huck, Samantha Schmütz, Luciano Szafir, Dani Valente, Lavínia Elasak, Paulo Gustavo, Hebe Camargo, Zezé Motta, André Marques, between others.

The film “A Fairy Came to Visit Me”

Directed by Vivianne Jundi, the film is based on the best-selling book of the same name by Thalita Rebouças. The story presents a teenager in the midst of a period of great rebellion. Luna, played by Tontom Périssé, receives an unexpected visit from a fairy called Tatu, played by Xuxa Meneghel, who has the mission of transforming the teenager into the best friend of her enemy Lara, played by actress Vitoria Valentin.

The objective of the union between the two is that Lara would go through a big problem, and therefore, she would need Luna's help.

During the plot, it will be possible to follow the difficulties of the fairy Tatu in adapting to the new culture and the behavior of the new generation, as she spent more than three decades asleep.

The film has already premiered in all Brazilian cinemas and the public can now see the presenter's new work up close.
