Taylor Swift breaks another Billboard record

About to start her new tour “The Eras Tour”, the North American artist never tires of breaking records, and, with the new Billboard update, she reaches the milestone of having had 27 songs in the top 10 of the AirPlay chart with “Lavander Haze”, which rose in position last week, going from 11th to 9th. Taylor, thus, achieves the longest streak of singles on Billboard's adult pop AirPlay and ties Maroon 5.

It's important to remember that “Lavender Haze” is the second song from the new album to reach the top 10 of Billboard's AirPlay chart after “Anti-hero”, which reached and remained at No. 1 for nine consecutive weeks in the “Adult Pop” category from late last year to early this year.

In a way, it can be said that the release of the “Lavender Hazer” video in January contributed to breaking the record, because, in addition to being highly anticipated by fans, its visuals helped to understand the mysteries behind “Midnights”. The star herself stated that this was the first video to be written of those released, in addition to contributing to the atmosphere of the sleepless fever dream album from the 70s.

In addition, TayTay, according to Billboard itself, had already reached the region for the first time in the top 40 of the radio chart at number 6 in March 2008 with “Teardrops On My Guitar”. Swift, however, differentiates herself from other artists by having, since 2012, achieved at least one new top 10 in the rankings each year, thus being the longest streak in the active race and also in the archives of the chart, according to the magazine.
