Alex Sarr, potential 1st pick, declares for the 2024 NBA Draft

“I had a great year playing professional basketball in the NBL. I have grown a lot, both in the game and personally. I'm ready for the next step, so it was obvious to me that I should declare for the draft. I am grateful for the year I spent in the NBL with the Perth Wildcats.”, commented Sarr. A great defender, he is 2.16m tall and has shown versatility in protecting the rim and guarding players on the perimeter. But, I've been watching the entire NBA, to understand the game better. From what I've seen, I can fit in easily. There are a lot of marking changes in defense. You must be prepared to score from anywhere on the court. Tall players have to create plays, make the right passes and also create for themselves. These are things I can do. This summer, when I finally have time to work on my three-pointer, I'm going to take it to a new level.”he stated.
