Altas Horas celebrates the return of the soap opera Cheias de Charme

Altas Horas, on TV Globo, this Saturday, March 16, celebrates the plot Cheias de Charme, a soap opera that aired on TV Globo in 2012, and which had as central characters the maids Maria da Penha, Maria do Rosário and Maria Aparecida, played, respectively, by actresses Taís Araujo, Leandra Leal and Isabelle Drummond.

The story, a modern-day fable, stars maids who form a successful musical trio, in a plot of dreams, struggle and triumph, which generated great identification with the public.

Cheias de Charme returned to TV Globo screens on the 11th, in the Special Edition range, right after Jornal Hoje.

On stage, Serginho Groisman welcomes Taís Araujo and Isabelle Drummond. Leandra Leal, participates remotely, on the program's big screen. The actresses remember the recordings, tell behind-the-scenes facts and praise their characters: “Maria da Penha is the classic Brazilian woman, a fighter, who is 'on the run'. Married, she has a young son and is still raising two brothers. She played a fundamental role in reconnecting me with my profession. I had just had a child and was thinking about whether I wanted to go back”, reveals Taís.

Isabelle, in turn, comments: “Cida is abused, right?! She was the daughter of the maid who stayed at the house, it's a story that happens a lot. And she had the desire to change her life.” Leandra Leal concludes: “Rosário was a dreamy woman, who wanted to conquer her space. I think that, of the three, she was the one who first wanted to be a singer.”

Altas Horas is presented by Serginho Groisman, directed by Serginho Groisman and Adriano Ricco, and airs on Saturdays after Renascer.
