Ana Furtado shares a photo of when she was undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer

Presenter Ana Furtado turned 50 in October this year and this Monday (27), she shared a video on her Instagram where she shows a photo of herself from when she was fighting cancer. The Journalist discovered the disease in 2018 and she commented that at the time it was like a punch in the stomach when she discovered this disease, after years of fighting cancer she managed to win and today she shares with her fans what 50-year-old Ana would say to herself during treatment. Ana said that she would tell herself from that time that everything passes and that difficult time has also passed.

How was the treatment

On her Instagram, Ana says that she used the “Cryotherapy” treatment, she explains that it is a technique that helps reduce hair loss during chemotherapy. She also said that she thought she couldn't continue, as it caused her a lot of pain, but she was determined and somehow the treatment worked. Fans who follow the presenter were able to show their joy at Ana's cure in the comments of the video.

Ana Furtado launches new book

In September 2023, the presenter released her newest book called “Até Nunca Mais”, in this book Ana talks about the breast cancer she faced, she talks in more detail about how she accepted and resisted this disease and talks a little about the What to do when you find yourself in a situation as difficult as this, according to Ana, this book is an inspiration for anyone who is going through difficult times and feels lost.

New projects from the presenter

Ana spent 26 years at TV Globo, however, she decided to leave the station of her own free will. This year (2023), she signed a contract with the television channel TNT, she will be working as a presenter for the awards that take place on the channel such as Grammy, Billboard, among others.
