Become a ninja master: we selected the 5 best Naruto games
Naruto games are the property of Bandai Namco and, like the TV series, they are also successful with games. According to the company, the Ultimate Ninja series has sold around 20.8 million units worldwide and, when we remember ninja games, we usually associate them with this one. With that in mind, we decided to select the five best Naruto games.
5 – Naruto: Path of the Ninja
Originally released for the Gameboy Advance and later having a remaster for the Nintendo DS, Path of the Ninja is the only one on this list that focuses on the traditional RPG style in its purest form, with increasing levels, turn-based battles, conversations, etc. Anyone who likes Naruto and the RPG genre should definitely try it out.
4 – Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm
All “Ninja Storm” games are considered excellent and, when we think of “Naruto game”, the one that comes to mind most is this one. The first Ultimate Ninja Storm was released for the PS3 in 2008 and was later ported to other consoles, evolving the “Ultimate Ninja” series, as it is now possible to move around entirely polygonal environments, we have several ninja weapons. Even though it's a game in which you press “a single button massively”, it's fun because it's simplistic and has really cool visuals.
3 – Naruto: Shinobi Striker
Launched in 2018, it draws attention due to its gigantic character customization, as well as allowing interaction and even fights against iconic characters from the series. It mixes action RPG elements with battles and a story told through avatars, in addition to the open world. It's true that over time it becomes a little repetitive, but it's cool nonetheless.
2 – Naruto Shippudden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3
This arrived in 2013 for several consoles at the time and has an impressive 80 playable characters (!), in addition to mixing elements of an action game with a fighting game and having a good multiplayer. With good graphics, fights very faithful to the anime, gameplay and simple story, it's worth checking out.
1 – Naruto Shippudden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
Considered the “peak” of Naruto games, this one has more than 100 playable characters and, in terms of story, we can see the perspective of Naruto himself or Sasuke. The battles are more dynamic, the graphics are also great, and the game was concerned that the battles would destroy the scenery and also damage the characters' clothes. It is the richest, most varied and fun game in the series.
