Since I was young I had this desire. Bruna also commented on the symptoms of this phase. “Each week I feel a new change. First there were the cramps, followed by nausea, increased appetite (I ate a lot in the first four months), unwillingness to do physical exercises… then everything got better, sleeping during the day passed, I started to have more courage to take care of myself and now I feel the baby move, one of the sensations I most wanted to have”.

Many pregnant women tend to have strange cravings, but Bruna said she hasn’t gone through that yet. “I didn’t feel many cravings. At the beginning of my pregnancy, I felt like eating foods that I don’t usually eat, like noodles with nuggets, sausages, crackers with cream cheese… but nothing too unusual”.

As a first-time mom, the girl revealed that the beginning of the pregnancy was quite challenging. “The most challenging part was the first three months. It was all very new and I had a lot of fears. The best part is feeling it move and remembering that you are generating a life inside you”.

When it comes to childbirth, the artist confessed that she still does not know whether she will have a normal birth or a cesarean section. “For now I’m afraid of both types. Closer to childbirth I will decide”.

CHOICE OF NAME

Mavie means “My Life” in French, and Bruna told how the name was chosen for the little one. If the baby was a boy, the girl still wouldn’t have a choice.

“We were thinking a lot about names, but we hadn’t fallen in love with any yet. We had a few options for names for a girl, and one for a boy. Until talking to my family on Mother’s Day, my cousin suggested Mavie, explained the meaning and everyone thought it was a very special name. From that moment on, we couldn’t think of anyone else. If the baby was a boy, we still wouldn’t have a name.”
