crypto auction from Bill Murray – Bill Murray has been robbed of some $185,000 worth of digital currency. The American actor had collected the digital money just a few hours earlier during an auction for charity. That reports the crypto specialized news website Coindesk Friday.
Murray auctioned some NFTs (non-fungible tokens) on Thursday to donate the proceeds to charity. A hacker robbed the actor’s digital wallet a few hours after the auction closed.

The theft was noticed in time by Murray’s team, among others. It could be prevented that the actor’s NFTs were also stolen. This includes valuable specimens, including an NFT by Damien Hirst. Murray’s team has reported the robbery.
The charity for which the proceeds were, does not have to mourn the lost donation. According to Coindesk, the last bidder would have offered to replace the stolen money.
185,000 dollars is currently equivalent to 185,000 euros.
