Family is Everything: Mel Summers is looking forward to her debut

Mel Summers, Just 7 years old, he is about to enchant the Brazilian public in his debut on TV Globo, in the next 7pm soap opera, Família É Tudo. Written by Daniel Ortiz and directed by Fred Mayrink, the plot promises to captivate viewers.

Mel plays the main character's childhood, which will be played by Nathalia Dill in adulthood.

Mel Summers debuted on TV in 2021, taking on, at the age of 5, the role of Princess Tani of Egypt in the soap opera “Gênesis”, on Record, soon to be reprized. Since then, the 'little prodigy' has dedicated more than two years to her artistic training, carrying out intensive training in São Paulo, with more than a dozen directors, and in Rio de Janeiro, with William Vita. The renowned actor and actor trainer from Rio recalls: “You know that actress who listens to me and feels like she can give even more? That’s right… then my job becomes easy!”

Mel also trains in singing and started playing piano, but it is in preparing for TV and film cameras that she finds her true passion.

Fluent in English, Mel worked in 2023 with two renowned acting coaches; a Brazilian, responsible for preparing talents such as Glória Pires and Mariana Ximenes using the Meisner Technique, and the American Bruce Ducat, a well-known Hollywood star preparer. Ducat, impressed by Mel's talent, praises her dedication, passion and discipline, rare qualities in someone so young. It highlights the child actress' ability to assimilate North American techniques and adapt them in a personalized way.

“In four decades I have worked with countless professional actors, of all ages and continents. I have had a passion for acting since I was a child and that is what I look for in my students. I am very proud and feel that she is on the path to success in this very challenging industry”, says Ducat.
