Ferrugem and IZA together at the “Me Perdoa” pagoda

The singer Ferrugem releases this Friday (23), the song “Me Perdoa”, in partnership with the singer IZA. The feat. The singers' new album arrives via Warner Music Brasil on all digital players and, in addition, will have a clip on the composer's official YouTube channel at 12pm. This is the end of the mystery surrounding the two artists, who this year performed at the major music festival, Rock in Rio.

After his historic show as an ambassador for Espaço Favela, Ferrugem gave clues throughout the month of September about the next musical project he would develop. On the occasion, he paid homage to IZA by going to the event wearing a t-shirt with the singer's print and took the opportunity to praise her in different ways. The two have since started publishing images online, indicating that they were working together.

In the new single, the partners say that ending relationships are always complicated and difficult, regardless of how long the relationship was together, however, ending relationships doesn't have to hurt more than necessary. Singing about a relationship that came to an end and the couple tried to do it in the best way possible to avoid great suffering, IZA and Ferrugem fall into the pagoda in a song originally composed by Thiaguinho and BG (Brunno Gabryel).

With the certainty that the public will enjoy it a lot, Ferrugem said: “It is an incredible honor to sing alongside this artist who is so important to our culture. Ever since she released the single 'Meu Talismã', where she mentions a pagoda in the lyrics, I've wanted to do a feat with her.

IZA took the opportunity to declare: “It was always a dream to record with Ferrugem. He has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever seen and one of the most virtuoso singers I've ever met. It's very special for me to make this dream come true with such a beautiful and wonderful song, which I'm sure many people will relate to. Thus, “Me Perdoa” is another new and successful partnership between two admirable Brazilian music phenomena that arrives to rock the hearts of the public.
