Flay reveals abusive relationship and outburst after breaking up with Pedro Maia

Through social media, Flay spoke again about breaking up her engagement with Pedro Maia. The two were in a relationship for almost three years, but broke up earlier this month. The singer and former BBB member revealed that she lived in an abusive relationship and that she had anxiety attacks several times because of her ex-fiance.

Flay spoke about the discomfort of exposing his personal life

Flay published a long story on Instagram and stated that he does not like to expose his personal life, but chose to speak out after hints from his ex on social media. Before the singer's outburst, Maia had answered some questions from her followers and said that she no longer intends to get involved with people from “the internet”.

“I, who was mistreated, did not have the attitude of coming out with a hint on the internet with the intention of harming anyone, it doesn't make any sense to do this to those who mistreat. My relationship didn't end because I was on the internet, but because of a lack of respect for myself and people, among other things.”, lamented the singer.

Flay stated that she did everything in her power to preserve the good memories and a good relationship even after the breakup and in consideration of the love she dedicated to a person who has not existed for a while. She emphasized that she has always been respectful despite being disrespected, she fought for her relationship and that she does not feel ashamed, as her feelings are not fake.

The voice of the hit song “If I Were You” highlighted that she cried a lot, had countless anxiety attacks, asked for help and was despised, but decided to live and that even with wounds she cannot give up on being happy.

Singer closes the matter after outburst

The ex-BBB concluded by stating that she will not allow anyone to make her look like the wrong one and asked her fans not to talk about the matter anymore. Flay said she still can't believe she dedicated the last three years of her life to end it this way. She stressed that everything she has been through is enough and very unfair, so she said that the matter is closed and that she is trying to move on with her life after this disappointment from which she leaves completely destroyed and says she is very ashamed of going through this situation even though she knows that she wasn't the one in the wrong.
