In an interview before the show at the Lolla, Yungblud also stated that all of us (Brazilians) have incredible energy and unity and that he couldn't wait to meet us and also to feel all of us. He also said that this is what he wants in a show and that's the idea of ​​a small show, being closer to people. Furthermore, he said that he had already been told that he should play in bigger shows, where he replied that it was not his first time.

According to him, the majority of his fans are part of Generation Z, being a different audience from the aforementioned bands. Although the musician doesn't relate much to these songs, he greatly respects and admires other artists. “I love Matty Healy, I love Alex Turner, but I don't connect with them like I used to. They're older, and everything is very serious.”

When he was questioned by Rolling Stone Brazil about the real reason he feels he is so different from musicians among other generations, he stated that: “What I mean is that we speak louder. Our generation is loud as hell. But I like the Arctic Monkeys and The 1975, The Car (recent Arctic Monkeys album) was my favorite last year.”

Furthermore, Yungblud also revealed that he is preparing a heavier album that returns more to his roots. “The next album should surprise everyone, it will be heavier, I can guarantee it.”
