Green Day releases new album “Saviors” and promises tour in 2024

This Friday (19), the band Green Day released the album “Saviors” to the delight of their fans who only had the band's last album released in 2020 and since then have been eagerly awaiting more news from the Punk Rock band.

Band tour in 2024

To the delight of the band's fans and admirers, the year 2024 will bring many new features and one of them is the global tour that the band will undertake, taking their show to various places around the world. The scheduled date for the tour to take place is May 30, 2024 and the band members have high expectations for this new era.

Album theme

For an interview with the newspaper “The Guardian”, Billie Joe, the band's lead singer, spoke a little about bringing the theme of “politics” back to the album, according to him the changes in social media and the arrival of Covid-19 made him organize your thoughts and realize how divided things have become in the last five years. It is worth remembering that this is not the first time that the band has included politics as one of the themes within their songs.

Saviors album

The album is now available on digital platforms and has 15 songs, some of which are “Dillema”, “Bobby Sox”, “Coma Sity”, “Fancy Sauce”, “Saviors”, “The American Dream Is Killing Me”, among other songs that are available on Spotify. Recently the band released the video for the song “Dillema” on YouTube with the clip being recorded in a very creative way where the band members appear dancing in a bar with several people who share the same vibe. It is worth mentioning that the entire clip is in black and white and was directed by Ryan Baxley.
