Jão launches short film “Alinhamento Millenar” and surprises the public

Singer Jão surprised his fans this Wednesday (24) with the release of a short film for the song “Millennial Alignment”, a single from the album “SUPER”, released in August 2023. The video released on the singer’s official YouTube channel already has more than 50 thousand views.

The work profoundly and sensitively shows the passage of time, a narrative built on a rare event, an eclipse that happens every 50 years, and the discovery of love. Full of short and innocent dialogues, the work captures first love, one that is unforgettable.

About the album SUPER

“It's a way of apologizing to myself”, sums up Jão in letters. Released in August 2023, the album “SUPER” is a journey of self-knowledge and overcoming for the artist, and marks the end of a trilogy that began with the albums “Wolves” (2018), “Anti hero” (2019) and “Pirate” (2021).

“I always knew I wanted to create a series of albums and have them be about my life. For me, albums are documents. For each artist it means something different and for me they are documents of my life”, he states in an interview with g1.

The album is inspired by the element of fire and brings a lot of musical diversity, showing Jão's ability to move between musical genres. Throughout 14 new tracks, Jão explores themes such as love, pain, self-knowledge and overcoming. Songs like “Scorpion”, a melancholic ballad, “Lick Me”a dance song are present on the album.

Jão and his SUPERTURNÊ

Another milestone in his career as a singer, Jão started SUPERTURNÊ at Allianz Parque, last weekend. With a structure that went viral on social media, with a lot of effort and dedication the artist sold out tickets in a matter of hours.

Additionally, it is the Brazilian singer's fourth ongoing tour, in support of his fourth studio album “SUPER”. However, the big news is overproduction.
