Emicida ends the “AmarElo” tour with 12 shows in Brazilian capitals

Rapper Emicida took fans by surprise this Tuesday (30) when he announced the end of the tour for the album “AmarElo”, during a press conference at Casa Francisca, in São Paulo. The journey, called “AmarElo – A Gira Final”, will pass through 12 Brazilian capitals between March and June 2024.

After a break dedicated to teaching at the University of Coimbra in Portugal, Emicida will return to the stage. The “Gira Final” marks the epilogue of the “AmarElo” show, opening the door to a new phase in his career.

On the tour, Emicida will revisit the trajectory of the album released in 2019 by producer Lab Fantasma, which not only won the hearts of fans, but also won the prestigious Latin Grammy. The pandemic brought uncertainty about the return of the tour, but public demand led to it being resumed.

“A Gira Final” is not just the end of the tour; In it, the rapper also embraces the religious symbolism of giras, rituals present in African-based religions, highlighting the unique duality of the title.
