Ice Apocalypse” is brought forward to March

Sony Pictures surprises Ghostbusters fans by anticipating the premiere of “Ghostbusters: Apocalypse of Ice”. Initially scheduled for March 29, 2024, the film will now hit the big screen on March 22. The news excites fans of the saga, eager to relive the clash between the ghostbusters and supernatural forces.

In the long-awaited sequel “Ghostbusters: Ice Apocalypse”, the Spengler family returns to the starting point of their journey, that is, to the well-known New York fire station. By joining forces with the original Ghostbusters, they uncover a top-secret research laboratory, taking ghost hunting to unexplored heights. However, the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes a force of evil, forcing an unexpected alliance to form between the original Ghostbusters and the new recruits. Together, they will face the imminent threat of a second Ice Age, in a battle to protect their homes and save the world.

Strong cast and direction in the new film in the franchise

The cast, consisting of Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd and Ernie Hudson, reprise their iconic roles, providing a nostalgic experience for fans. Furthermore, the addition of new talents such as Patton Oswalt, Kumail Nanjiani, James Acaster and Emily Alyn Lind enriches the plot, promising an experience in which the meeting of generations will take viewers on a fun and action-packed journey.
