João Bosco & Vinícius join Murilo Huff in launch

Chosen to continue the release of the biggest DVD of João Bosco & Vinícius' career, “JB&V 21 In Concert”, the track “Machucado Novo”, in collaboration with singer Murilo Huff, already has its release date confirmed for this week .

From midnight this Friday (29th), the song will be available on all audio platforms and its music video will arrive on YouTube at noon. listen here.

Composition and narrative

Composed by Ruan di Paula, Will Andrade and Clebinho, the lyrics bring a strong sentimental charge and tell the story of a couple who, even though they don't accept it, are no longer working out. The music video was extracted from the DVD, recorded in the presence of more than 20 thousand people at the Eurobike Arena, in Ribeirão Preto (SP), and the singers managed to convey each verse of the song in an intense and profound way: “ the heart doesn't know if it ends / or wait a little longer / it could be the chance of a lifetime / or another new injury.”

“Unlike the first release, this song is melancholic and brings more about country suffering. It will touch the hearts of many Brazilians who have undoubtedly been through this situation with someone. It’s a reality, so why not turn it into art?”shares João Bosco.

“It was an immense pleasure to have Murilo with us on this track. On the day of recording we felt that our voices were complete and now, every time we hear it, we are only more certain that he was the right guy for this moment. The composition is beautiful and the rhythm even more so. I hope you enjoy it a lot!”, concludes Vinícius.

Other successes

Its predecessor, “Docinho de Festa”, in collaboration with Gustavo Mioto, began the launch of the new audiovisual project and was very well received by the duo's 4.8 million monthly listeners and 1.9 million subscribers. In less than a month, the hit has already surpassed 11.2 million streams combined.

Recorded in July this year, the DVD also featured appearances by big names in the music industry, such as Israel & Rodolffo, Mari Fernandes, Maiara & Maraisa, Guilherme & Benuto and Léo Magalhães. The estimate is that the 21 recorded tracks, including 9 new ones and 12 re-recordings, will be released by the beginning of 2024. Currently, there are more than 8.1 million followers waiting for the next steps of one of the most beloved country duos in Brazil.
