Announced as a surprise presentation of the Jaguariúna Rodeio, Fernando and Sorocaba put on a unique and unforgettable show last night (23). Due to bad weather, the plane that would bring the band was unable to take off from Lages (SC) after the band's show. “This Is Barbecue”, held in Ituporanga (SC). Even with the setback, the duo took to the stage with just their voices and guitar, out of respect for the audience of more than 25 thousand people present, and put on an epic show.

“We were tense because the public expects a show with a band, a DJ, and a larger structure, and we were entering the stage with just the two of us, guitar, piano and harmonica, so it did give us butterflies. But for us it was very special, because the public participated and sang all the songs, from the modões to our most recent releases. It was great, I’m really happy”says Fernando.

Sorocaba complements his companion: “We were in a difficult moment of doing a show without a band where the band was Fernandinho, and this had never happened to us in our 15 year career. But we saw that it could be resolved and we did our best. We chose the repertoire on the way from Santa Catarina to São Paulo, and we did an intimate show with true country music anthems along with our repertoire, and I believe it was enjoyable. It was a different, atypical and unique show”.

The audience also put on a show and was the third voice of the duo, who sang hits from their 15-year career, as well as great country classics. Fernando played the guitar and piano, and Sorocaba played the guitar and harmonica, and raised the energy of the crowd present. Right at the beginning of the show, they sang the new hit that promises to be the song for the Jaguariúna Rodeio: “A Galera do Chapéu” – also chosen as the song for Barretão 2023.

After the performance, Fernando and Sorocaba were confirmed as attractions in 2024 by the Rodeio organization and promise to put on one of the best shows that the Jaguariúna public has ever seen, in addition to donating the entire fee.
