Ivete Sangalo announces show at Maracanã to start her 30th anniversary tour

Ivete Sangalo is about to complete 30 years of career and to celebrate three decades full of successes, the singer from Bahia announced this Thursday (21) that her new tour “Ivete 3.0”a project in partnership with 30e, will begin on December 20, 2023. The first show of the tour was named by Ivete as “Warm up” and will be held at Maracanã, a stadium in Rio de Janeiro, where the artist raised dust with more than 60 thousand people, during the recording of a DVD in 2006. In 2024, the tour will continue through São Paulo, at Allianz Parque, and 30 other cities.

During a press conference, the singer said that she intends to perform “a show never seen before” and promises to impact the public with “joy, music and lots of emotion”recalling several memories and featuring special guests who were part of his career in music. “Ivete 3.0 is the confirmation of everything I dreamed of for myself and was given to me. And of everything I have dreamed of for the future and will have”said the artist, during a press conference.

Instituto Ivete Sangalo will receive part of the income

Ivete states that part of the proceeds will be allocated to solidarity actions and also to the Ivete Sangalo Institute, a non-profit entity, which aims to support and promote causes aimed at children and adolescents in situations of risk or vulnerability in Brazil.

Live broadcast on Globo

The Maracanã show will be broadcast live on Rede Globo, as part of the broadcaster's end-of-year special. Despite this, the singer states that the annual program with Roberto Carlos will not be replaced and remains in the television network's plans. “You need to have majesty to be queen. No one takes the place of a king. I would never put myself in that place. I would never forgive myself for not being able to watch Roberto Carlos’ special”stated Ivete.

Boninho is betting on the Bahian singer's new tour and suggests that it could become the biggest show ever recorded at the Rio stadium. The director expresses his support, stating: “Ivete has been our partner since the beginning of her journey. And now, we couldn't be left out of celebrating her 30 years of career.” Furthermore, he ensures that the first show will be broadcast on all Globo channels.

Tickets for the celebration will be sold from next Monday (25th), on the Eventim website.
