Lawyer for the victim in the Daniel Alves case intends to appeal for parole

This Wednesday (20), after the accused appealed, the Barcelona court of justice took the decision to let Daniel Alves, the former player accused of rape in Europe and sentenced to 4 years in prison, go free upon payment of 1 million euros, an amount equivalent to more than 5 million reais, while awaiting the final decision.

Victim's lawyer intends to appeal

Ester García, the victim's defense lawyer, is outraged after learning of the court's decision and does not accept that the former player should serve the established sentence in freedom and intends to appeal, as quickly as possible, to reverse Daniel's situation. In addition to expressing her indignation, the lawyer stated that justice is being served for the rich.

The decision came from the judges of the Barcelona provincial audience, the highest instance of justice in the city. For this to happen, they will collect both passports, Brazilian and Spanish, to avoid escaping from the country where they are currently located, in addition to being able to remain free, these are: not communicating with the complainant through any means, maintaining distance, must appear every time they are requested to be present at the Barcelona Court and maintain a distance of at least 1 kilometer from the victim's home.
