Liver diseases caused by excess alcohol can be cured if diagnosed early

The risk of the disease increases when people drink more than the recommended limit per week: seven drinks for women, and 14 for men. In the case of women, the way they metabolize alcohol is different, which increases the risk of liver disease if consumed in the same amount as men.
