Last Monday (14), British singer Louis Tomlinson reached the milestone of 2.5 billion plays on Spotify, adding up all of the artist's credits. The information was given by the Tracklist portal on Twitter.
Stream success
The former One Direction member has been working on his solo career for a few years, following in the same footsteps as other former members of the band. The brand achieved by the singer on Spotify demonstrates not only that he has a loyal audience, but that he continues to rise even after the band's end.

Despite this, Louis is the former director with the lowest number of monthly listeners on the platform, with 3.4 million, while Harry Styles has more than 61 million, the highest number among former members. It is worth mentioning that everyone is working on their solo careers.
New tour and visit to Brazil
This year, Louis began his international tour “Faith In The Future World Tour” and has already visited Europe and North America. According to journalist José Norberto Flesch, the singer will also perform in Brazil in May 2024. The information has not yet been confirmed by Louis' team, but the tendency is for the performances to actually take place, it remains to be seen the dates and locations of the shows. Louis' last visit to Brazil was in 2022, with “Louis Tomlinson World Tour”.
The Brit's new tour aims to present and promote his latest album “Faith in the Future”, released last year. The album is the second in the singer's solo career and in 2023 it received a bonus version with 3 new songs: “High In California”, “Change” and the acoustic version of “Face The Music”.
Louis' first album was “Walls”, released in 2020. The singer's performances in Brazil were supposed to take place in the same year as the album's release, but ended up being postponed due to the pandemic. Therefore, they were only carried out in 2022.
