In the beauty of the Met Gala 2023, the bun shone

Last Monday, May 1st, the Met Gala ball took place. Several celebrities showed up to make their contribution to this year’s honoree, Karl Lagerfeld. They wore models that made reference to the designer’s legacy, or to stories they might have experienced with Karl.

There was great anticipation as to what would be seen on the carpet in terms of beauty. Despite the trends and speculations, in makeup, it was still not known which part of the face would receive more prominence, or which hairstyles would be chosen by the famous to adorn their faces and leave the perfect production for the party. With her iconic dresses, the bun was the hairstyle chosen for the gala night. The hair appeared more than once on the carpet and “married” perfectly with the chosen dresses.

The bun chosen by Vanessa Hudgens, for example, was the most traditional. With her hair perfectly lined up, the actress gave her face the perfect highlight so that her eyes with a wonderful outline were even more striking.

The Brazilian Anitta, who is present at the event for the second time, brought a bun in a more relaxed style. The singer’s hair color was essential for the effects of the hairstyle to be on display. The copper color of the artist’s hair was beautiful and gave the look a special touch.

Kim Kardashian, separated some locks in the front part of her hair and with the bun her face was properly adorned by the hairstyle that combined perfectly with her makeup in which her eyes were the highlight. Miranda Kerr, with her red lips, appeared with a hairstyle similar to Kim’s.

American singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves also appeared with her bun to brighten up the Met. The Grammy winner, she came up with a more elaborate bun model and, with a fringe.
