Last Friday, the three tracks that make up Desenrola were announced. Track 1 seeks to serve the population that receives up to R$ 2,640 and has debts incurred between January 2019 and December 2022. While track 2, includes people with monthly income of up to R$ 20,000.

With the first two bands being implemented this Monday (17), Brazilians with debts of up to R$100 will have their names removed from the negative register and those with income of up to R$20,000 will be able to renegotiate what they owe directly with the institutions. .

Banks must “clear the name” of debtors by the 28th, however, the debt will not be extinguished. This is because Desenrola seeks to allow Brazilians to regain their purchasing power by restoring their rights, such as obtaining credit.

According to president Lula, the government will negotiate directly with the banks, in addition to offering them regulatory incentives to help offer credit.

“We are going to assume the responsibility of trying to negotiate with banks, negotiate with companies so that people can leave Serasa, clear their name and return to being citizens of respect, able to consume. There is nothing better than a citizen knowing that he is not in debt”, said Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in an interview with TV Record.
