Manchester United player loses millionaire sum after father-in-law goes bankrupt

The player lost this amount of money after investing in the company Fortress Capital Partnersrun by his fiancee's father, who declared bankruptcy at the end of 2023.

McTominay invested one million pounds sterling for the company to buy property in Portugal. After the company's bankruptcy, creditors should receive around 10% of what they invested. The steering wheel's fiancée had to sell some properties in Dubai and Spain to pay off the debt. Her family lifestyle, accustomed to lavishing luxury on social media, generated criticism from investors.
