New PS5 Accessibility Controller Launches Worldwide on December 6

Sony has just announced the launch date of Access, the new accessibility controller for PS5, which promises to especially benefit the millions of people with disabilities around the world. The novelty will be available worldwide on December 6 and pre-orders start soon.

Developed to meet different needs, the Access controller allows the player to customize the layout and create 30 different control profiles, adjust settings and activate and deactivate commands in a personalized way. The controller can be used collaboratively with DualSense and operated under any 360º orientation. Users also have the ability to connect third-party accessibility devices through four available ports.

With the goal of creating a versatile controller that would enable gamers with disabilities to play more comfortably and for longer, Sony has teamed up with experts, organizations and the community over the past five years to bring the Access controller to life and open up the doors of the growing universe of games to even more people.
