Kate Middleton’s brother says: ‘We will climb this mountain together’

According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, the Princess has a large support network by her side, not only from her family, but also from special friends.

“She has a very close-knit group of friends and, especially in Norfolk, very close friends there,” Nicholl told the television program “Entertainment Tonight.”

“But I think the real anchors in his life are his parents… and his brother James… and his sister Pippa,” he points out.

“While you certainly don’t see them photographed together very often, they are very present in the background,” she continued. “They are absolutely fundamental,” she explains.

Nicholl also said that Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael, are “relieved” that the cancer was detected in its early stages and feel “reassured by the fact that chemotherapy is preventative chemotherapy.”

“Catherine will have the best doctors in the world taking care of her, so she is in good hands,” argued the specialist.

“Carole and Michael, they have always been an incredibly strong and also very down-to-earth couple… what they will do now is come together and support her – and not just William and Kate, [mas] your grandchildren too.”

Diagnosis ‘Shocked’ the Family

In a video shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media accounts on Friday, March 22, Kate Middleton revealed that she suffers from cancer. The announcement, with a princess without makeup and sitting in her garden, took the world by surprise, after so much speculation that arose after her surgery last January.

In the video, Middleton states that she learned of her diagnosis after undergoing “major abdominal surgery.”

“The surgery was a success. However, post-operative tests revealed that there was cancer,” said Kate.

“So my medical team recommended that I undergo preventative chemotherapy treatment and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”

“This, of course, has come as a huge shock, and William and I have done our best to process and manage this privately, for the sake of our young family,” he added.

“It took me some time to recover from the operation and begin treatment… But most importantly, it took me time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that was appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I will be fine,” justifies.

Kate ends the video by saying that ‘she is doing well and getting stronger every day’, while asking for ‘space, time and privacy’ to fulfill her medical schedule.

“We hope you understand that as a family we now need some time, space and privacy while I finish my treatment.”

Like her father-in-law, King Charles III, Kate Middleton also did not go into detail about which cancer she is facing, precisely to avoid further speculation.
