Perfect Love: Marê breaks up with Orlando

In “Amor Perfeito“, a telenovela aired by Rede Globo, Gilda (Mariana Ximenes) set up for Marê (Camila Queiroz) discover that Orlando (Diogo Almeida) is the son of Virgílio Lopes (Christovam Neto).

Marcelino is inconsolable with the fight between Marê and Orlando. Gilmar provides Marcelino’s medical records at the hospital to Edvaldo. Gaspar assures Anselmo that he doesn’t want to know about Gilda anymore. Orlando confronts Albuquerque and claims that Lucília’s death will not go unanswered, and seeks help from Júlio and Érico. Gilda and Edvaldo plan to find Rosa to buy Marcelino custody. Marê ends the relationship with Orlando. Sônia confesses to Júlio that she fears that he will dream about Marê again. Edvaldo finds Rosa, and Gilda celebrates.

“Amor Perfeito” premiered on March 20, on Globo, replacing “Mar do Sertão” in the 6 pm slot. It is written by Duca Rachid, Júlio Fischer and Elisio Lopes Jr., freely inspired by the novel “Marcelino Pão e Vinho” (1953), by the Spanish writer José María Sánchez Silva. The direction is by Alexandre Macedo, Lúcio Tavares, Joana Antonaccio and Larissa Fernandes. Artistic direction is signed by André Câmara. In the cast, Camila Queiroz, Diogo Almeida, Mariana Ximenes, Thiago Lacerda, Daniel Rangel, Carmo Dalla Vecchia, Juliana Alves, Levi Asaf, among others.

Gilda is thrilled with the possibility of finding Rosa. Gaspar provokes Gilda and summons her to take over as Secretary of Tourism. Darlene tells Frei João that she will not accept Gaspar’s approach. Rosa tells Edvaldo that she never left a child at the Brotherhood. Júlio reveals that Gilda accuses Frei Severo of neglecting Marcelino, as a result of the accident with the scorpion. Ítalo scolds Gilmar for providing Marcelino’s medical record to Edvaldo. Turíbio tells Ivan about his intentions with Tânia. Marcelino tries to unite Marê and Orlando again. Adelia is surprised to think about Ivan. Clara says that she would like Frei João to be her father. Edvaldo tells Gilda about his encounter with Rosa, and the villain deduces that Marcelino is the son of Marê and Orlando.

Thursday, July 20th

Gilda gains custody of Marcelino and vibrates with revenge against Marê. Everyone in the Brotherhood despairs with Marcelino’s departure. Tânia’s photo is published on the cover of Gazeta, and Popó gets irritated with Turíbio. Marê discovers that Gilda will be under Marcelino’s guardianship and runs to meet the boy. Rita admires Gilda, and Neiva is shaken. Everyone in town talks about Marcelino’s adoption by Gilda. Gilda is delirious and plans her future marriage to Orlando.

Friday, July 21st

Marê, Orlando and the religious get together to talk to Marcelino, but Manoel interrupts the Brotherhood stating that he will not let Gilda stay with his friend. Marcelino begs not to leave the Brotherhood. Orlando confronts and threatens Gilda. Lívia questions Albuquerque about Tobias’s biological father, and the chief dismisses the conversation. Leonor and Celeste welcome Valente, a former political prisoner. Valente looks at his wife’s photo and promises to find their son. Anselmo and Cândida ask Gaspar to have a partner. Marcelino talks with Jesus, and is caught by Friar Severo.

Marcelino swears that Jesus was talking to him, but Frei Severo scolds the boy for being alone in the attic. Everyone in the Brotherhood remembers Marcelino’s arrival and growth. The children are revolted by the fact that Marcelino has to stay with Gilda. Marcelino moves into Gilda’s house, and Neiva claims that she will protect him. Valente meets Tobias and deduces that he is his son Samuel. Veronica worries about Júlio’s behavior towards Marê. Marcelino refuses to interact with Gilda, who threatens the boy to Rita.
